Business File spoke to S&B President Odysseas Kyriakopoulos shortly after a deal between the leading Greek minerals group and France’s Imerys was sealed in Paris, which took the traditional family business into a global environment

In the exclusive interview with Alexandra C. Vovolini and Antonis D. Papagiannidis, S&B President Odysseas Kyriakopoulos spoke to Business File shortly after the deal was finalised in Paris in November following five months of tough negotiations. Imerys, a French multinational involved in the production and processing of industrial minerals, will integrate the main activities of S&B, the leading Greek minerals group established 80 years ago and majority-controlled by the Kyriakopoulos family, in a deal worth more than 500 million euros to safeguard S&B’s future.
