Saudi Arabia and Greece extend their cooperation on the development of sustainable coastal and marine tourism.
The two countries signed a deal to exchange knowledge and best practice in investment, human capital development, training, event organization, marketing and promotion to support coastal and marine tourism in a sustainable way.

The deal was signed in Athens, at the sidelines of the High Level Conference on Coastal and Maritime Tourism organized by the World Tourism Organization in Athens.
Harry Theoharis, Greek minister of Tourism and Saudi Arabia’s Tourism minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb affirmed the two countries commitment to develop this type of tourism by protecting the valuable ecosystems at the same time.
