A vital meeting between the prime minister’s of Greece and FYROM is set to take place later on today (Thursday). Greek PM Alexis Tsipras and his FYROM counterpart Zoran Zaev will discuss the ongoing negotiations between the two countries as efforts continue for a solution to be found.
Zaev, stressed on Wednesday that his country remains committed to NATO and European Union membership. However, a solution must be found in order for the process to begin. Greece remains firmly opposed to any use of the word ‘Macedonia’ in any official name.
