The leaders of Greece, Cyprus and Egypt are currently holding a two-day political and economic conference, which is taking place in the Cypriot capital Nicosia.

Greek prime minister Alexis Tspiras will also be meeting next week with the Cypriot and Egyptian presidents, Nicos Anastasiades and Abdel Fattah al-Sisi for trilateral talks.

The leaders will discuss ways of reinforcing dialogue with the European Union regarding the various challenges that face the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean area, such as the ongoing refugee crisis.

Another subject on the agenda will be to forge closer ties of tourism and transportation between the three nations.
